Social Media Experience
As the Social Media and Communications Intern at Arizona State University’s Hillel, Emily Fox-Million played a key role in elevating the organization’s digital presence and deepening student engagement.
Emily strategically streamlined Hillel’s content production by shifting away from frequent pop-up posts and introducing consistent, curated weekly overviews of events. This pivot improved clarity, boosted interaction rates, and helped the organization maintain a cohesive brand voice. She also monitored social media analytics and performance metrics, translating follower behavior into actionable insights. Her comprehensive monthly reports not only guided future content decisions but also demonstrated measurable impact on the organization’s leadership.
In addition to managing visual content and messaging, Emily applied search engine optimization (SEO) strategies across digital platforms and newsletters, increasing discoverability and engagement with Hillel’s programs and initiatives. Her work made Hillel’s social media more accessible and mission-driven, helping to foster a welcoming, connected online and in-person environment.
Through this role, Emily deepened her experience in digital communication, SEO, content strategy, and values-based community building—all rooted in a journalistic mindset.
